The obsbot multi-cam connector is OBSBOT’s Wireless Multi-Cam Connector: a palm-sized Wi-Fi 6 device that plugs into a USB-C smartphone or tablet and streams video and audio from up to three cameras straight to it, so a producer can switch angles without cables or routers. It works only with OBSBOT Tail 2 and Tail Air cameras, through the Obsbot Live app. Accessory only — cameras sold separately.
Multi-camera production usually fails at the wiring: too many cables, dropped links and no clean way to keep every unit talking to the switcher. The obsbot multi-cam connector removes the wiring: it uses Wi-Fi 6, which OBSBOT says gives faster transfer, longer range and more reliability than a Wi-Fi 5 phone hotspot, reaches up to 30 m with three cameras paired in open, interference-free conditions, and reconnects automatically to previously paired cameras. It has no battery — it runs off the phone or tablet, and a USB-C power input lets you charge that device while you stream.
It suits multi-cam live streaming where cables get in the way: up to three Tail 2 or Tail Air cameras, with angle switching, picture-in-picture, audio mixing and transitions in the Obsbot Live app.
