Insta360 Connect — dual-4K AI video bar for meeting rooms
The Insta360 Connect is Insta360’s AI video bar for small to mid-sized meeting rooms: a 1/1.3-inch 48 MP wide-angle camera and a 1/2.8-inch 48 MP telephoto camera on a motorised gimbal, a 14-microphone array with 10-metre pickup and a 25 W speaker in one 685 mm bar.
Plug a laptop into its USB-C port and it becomes the camera, microphone and speaker for Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex or GoTo Meeting — no drivers, no app.
Insta360 positions the Insta360 Connect for small and medium-sized meeting rooms. The wide camera keeps the whole table in view while the gimbal camera pans ±35° and tilts ±20° to follow whoever is speaking, and AI Resolution+ upscaling keeps the close-up sharp.
What’s new in the Insta360 Connect
-
Dual 4K cameras — a 110° wide-angle camera for the room and a 40° telephoto gimbal camera for the speaker, both 48 MP, both 4K at 30 fps with 3× digital zoom.
-
AI framing — Group Framing shows everyone together; 8K Gallery Mode gives each participant their own window (up to eight at once) and relocates anyone who moves within three seconds.
-
Speaker Tracking — sound-location detection, voiceprint and face, body and lip recognition combine to centre the active speaker; Multi-Person Tracking keeps every participant monitored for fast hand-overs.
-
14-microphone array, 10 m pickup — echo cancellation, adaptive noise reduction and automatic gain control, with a 25 W speaker (20 W rated).
-
Whiteboard Mode and Privacy Mode — squares off a whiteboard even when someone stands in front of it; a physical slide switch conceals the wide lens, points the gimbal camera down and mutes the microphones.
-
Plug and play, then room-system ready — BYOD over one USB-C cable out of the box; add the Insta360 Touch Panel for Zoom Rooms and touch control.
BYOD today, Zoom Rooms tomorrow — and up to three more cameras
In BYOD mode the Insta360 Connect is a UVC camera, microphone and speaker for any meeting client on the laptop that plugs into it, with the included remote to switch modes from anywhere in the room. Add the optional Insta360 Touch Panel (an Android control screen with a presence sensor) and the same bar runs Zoom Rooms as a dedicated appliance.
For larger rooms, up to three Insta360 Link 2 series webcams join the Connect for close-up angles of speakers or a whiteboard, switched from the Touch Panel in Equal Division, Single Stream Full Screen or 1+N layouts. Firmware 1.2.16 (June 2026) added preset camera angles and pairing with the Insta360 Wave for Business to extend microphone coverage to about 20 metres.
Insta360 Connect Standard Bundle vs Connect with Touch Panel
Insta360 sells the Connect as a BYOD Standard Bundle or with the Touch Panel and a mount for room-system deployments. The bar is identical; the Touch Panel changes how the room is driven.
