Dual microphones with directional pickup — an omnidirectional and a directional mic feed AI noise-cancelling with four audio modes: Standard, Wide, Focus and Original. The Link 2 has a single mic.

Wider view — 83.9° diagonal field of view (71.4° horizontal), up from 79.5° on the Link 2 series, with up to 4× digital zoom.

Advanced tracking control — Tracking Area and Pause-Track Area fence where the gimbal follows you; available on the Link 2 Pro only.

Modes, software and the Wave ecosystem
AI Tracking, Smart Whiteboard, DeskView and Virtual Background are built in: whiteboard mode squares up and enhances a board using the four recognition markers in the box, DeskView tilts the gimbal down to share sketches and documents, and gesture control switches modes without touching the keyboard. Natural bokeh, background blur and replacement, and scene presets run in the free Link Controller software for Windows and macOS; the camera also works as a standard UVC device on Linux and through Insta360 Virtual Camera in any meeting app.
Snap the Link 2 Pro onto the pairing pins of the Insta360 Wave speakerphone and the Wave’s direction-of-arrival microphones steer the camera to whoever is speaking. Elgato Stream Deck integration switches modes, presets and cameras from one key, and it works in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex and OBS without drivers.
