Nextorch oStar High Performance Modular Helmet Light

The Nextorch oStar is a modular light rather than a plain headlamp. The lamp body carries a brim clip for a helmet or cap, a magnetic base for a bonnet or steel beam, and it drops into a standard headband for hiking. The beam angle adjusts through 120 degrees.

Practical use

High at 500 lumens runs about 6.5 hours and reaches 131 metres; the 185-lumen medium lasts 14 hours for general work; low at 25 lumens runs around 60 hours. There is an SOS mode for emergencies. It runs on a single 18650 rechargeable cell, which is included, and the body is IPX4 rated and drop tested to 2 metres.
