Nextorch maxStar High-Output Magnetic-Switching Head Lamp

The Nextorch maxStar is for people who find ordinary headlamps too dim. Its LED produces 1,200 lumens with a beam of around 200 metres, controlled by a 360-degree magnetic dial rather than a small button. The lamp unit pulls free of the headband so you can use it as a handheld light.

Practical use

High at 1,200 lumens runs about 4.5 hours for tracking, working on a vehicle or searching; the 160-lumen medium runs 8 hours for walking; the 20-lumen low gives about 40 hours for camp and outages. The head pivots through 180 degrees. Charging is by USB from the built-in 18650 cell.
