UltraLAN UL-GS1034S – 4-Port Gigabit SFP Switch

The UltraLAN UL-GS1034S is a compact unmanaged Gigabit fiber switch designed for extending copper Ethernet networks over fiber. It provides 4 x 1.25Gbps SFP slots and 3 x 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports, making it suitable for fiber uplinks, distributed network cabinets, CCTV networks and LAN extension.

The RJ45 ports support auto-negotiation, auto MDI/MDIX and full/half-duplex operation, while the SFP slots support 1000Base-SX/LX fiber connectivity. With suitable SFP modules, the switch can be used for multimode or single-mode fiber links from short-range cabinet connections through to long-distance network runs.

The UL-GS1034S uses store-and-forward switching, a 12Gbps backplane, 1K MAC address table and 1Mbit buffer. It also supports IEEE 802.1d Spanning Tree, IEEE 802.1q VLAN and IEEE 802.1p QoS, while remaining simple to deploy with plug-and-play unmanaged operation.
