UltraLAN UL-GS1028S – 8-Port Gigabit SFP Switch

The UltraLAN UL-GS1028S is an unmanaged Gigabit SFP fiber switch designed for fiber distribution, network cabinet uplinks, CCTV backhaul and distributed LAN connectivity. It provides 8 x 1000Mbps SFP slots and 2 x 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports, giving installers a compact way to combine fiber and copper connectivity in one switch.

The RJ45 ports support auto-negotiation for 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet, while the SFP ports operate at 1000Mbps full-duplex. By selecting suitable SFP modules, the switch can support multimode or single-mode fiber links for short or long distance deployments.

With a 20Gbps switching backplane, 8K MAC address table, IEEE 802.3x flow control, low power operation and a compact black metal enclosure, the UL-GS1028S is a practical solution for extending Gigabit networks over fiber.
