The Ultratec Nightingale is a simple, long-running lantern. It is not the brightest light in the range, but 150 lumens is plenty to eat, read and move around by, and 30 hours from a charge means it lasts through several evenings of outages. The battery is a standard 6 V 4 Ah sealed type that can be replaced when it eventually wears out.
