The Tenda S108 is a small, no-frills 8-port Fast Ethernet switch designed to add extra wired ports to a home, office, or dorm room network. Each of its 8 ports auto-negotiates between 10Mbps and 100Mbps with full-duplex throughput of up to 200Mbps per port, and auto MDI/MDI-X crossover detection means any standard network cable works straight out of the box.
It's built to IEEE 802.3 (10Base-T) and 802.3u (100Base-TX) standards, with a 2,000-entry MAC address table, and needs zero configuration: plug it in between your router and your devices and it just works. The compact case can sit on a desk or be wall-mounted, and it's rated to operate across a wide 0-45C range, making it tolerant of warm equipment cupboards or non-aircon offices.
