Supaled Scout 10W UV LED Scorpion Finder Rechargeable

Scorpions glow under ultraviolet light, and the SupaLED Scout puts out enough of it, at 390 to 400 nm, to spot them across a campsite at night. It runs on a built-in 2,200 mAh rechargeable battery, weighs 142 grams and is rated IP44 against splashes.

Practical use

Sweep the ground around the tent, under vehicles and along walls before bed on a camping trip in scorpion country. At home it finds cat and dog urine on carpets, checks documents and notes, and with fluorescent dye traces refrigerant or oil leaks.
