The Spyderco C122PBBK Tenacious Lightweight is a lighter, more tactical-oriented version of the best-selling Tenacious model. It retains the core ergonomic design and value-focused performance of the original while swapping the G-10 scales for injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) and adding a black-oxide coated blade for a stealthier appearance.

Key Features & Design

Blade: 3.39″ (86 mm) leaf-shaped drop point blade made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a full-flat grind. It features a black-oxide coating for reduced glare and improved corrosion resistance. Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole allows for easy one-handed opening.

Mechanism: Reliable liner lock (Walker Liner Lock) for secure lockup.

Handle: Textured black FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) scales over skeletonized stainless steel liners. The bi-directional texturing provides a secure grip while significantly reducing overall weight compared to the standard G-10 model.
