Nextorch P56 6-LED Forensic Flashlight Kit

The Nextorch P56 rotates the chosen LED into the centre of the reflector, so you get a proper focused beam in each colour rather than a scattered ring of small LEDs. Blue at 450 nm and UV at 365 nm make biological fluids and fluorescent markers glow; green and red improve contrast with the supplied glasses; infrared at 850 nm works with night-vision equipment; white is a normal 300-lumen torch.

Practical use

Beyond crime-scene work the kit is used for finding scorpions and bed bugs, checking for pet stains, tracing refrigerant and oil leaks with fluorescent dye, and verifying documents and banknotes. A multi-function tail switch selects wavelength and brightness with one hand. It runs on an included 18650 cell with USB charging, or on two CR123A batteries.
