MDR-SE OSDP - MULTI-DISCIPLINE READER WITH SEOS, 13.56MHZ, 125KHZ, OSDP. The Seos Multi-Discipline Reader (MDR-SE) range offers a plethora of technology within a compact mullion footprint. One distinctive feature of this reader is its capability to read both 125kHz and 13.56MHz credentials, including HID Global’s high-security Seos credentials. Available in two variants, the reader can operate with either the OSDP (the global IEC open standard) or the older Wiegand protocol. The OSDP version stands out for its cost and installation efficiencies, utilising two-wire cabling and supporting cable runs up to 1,000m from the controller. In contrast, the Wiegand variant has a wiring distance limit of 150m.
