The DTECH USB-EXT-60M lets you place USB peripherals far away from a host computer by using standard unshielded twisted-pair network cable as the extension medium. No drivers are required – the kit is fully plug-and-play and transparent to the connected operating system.

What’s in the Box
A transmitter (host-side) and receiver (device-side) unit, each with a standard RJ45 port. Connect them with a straight-through Cat5e or Cat6 patch run of up to 60 metres. Patch cable is not included.

USB 2.0 Compatibility
Supports USB 2.0 / 1.1 peripherals: keyboards, mice, printers, USB webcams, barcode scanners, and most low-power USB devices. An optional 5V DC jack on the receiver accommodates higher-draw devices such as external HDDs or USB Wi-Fi dongles.
