The HDM-EX150IR is a complete HDMI extender kit designed to send HDMI video and audio over standard network cable. Supplied as a matched transmitter and receiver set, it provides a practical solution for extending HDMI signals between source devices and remote displays without relying on long HDMI cable runs.

The transmitter connects to the HDMI source, such as a decoder, media player, NVR, PC or laptop, while the receiver connects to the remote display. The HDMI signal is compressed and transmitted over Cat5e / Cat6 network cable, helping provide stable long-distance signal extension for AV, surveillance, meeting room, education, digital signage and home entertainment installations.

This kit supports HDMI signals up to 1080P@60Hz and is backward compatible with multiple lower resolutions. H.264 video compression is used to improve transmission efficiency and help maintain smooth, stable playback over the network cable link.

Built-in IR passthrough allows remote control signals to be sent back from the receiver side to the source equipment, making it easier to control devices such as decoders, media players or NVRs from the display location. The system also supports point-to-point and point-to-multipoint style installations, and can be extended through compatible network switching equipment where required.
