Boox Picco pocket e-reader with a 3.97-inch e-ink screen
The Boox Picco is a pocket e-reader built around a 3.97-inch black-and-white e-ink screen with 800 × 480 resolution at 235 ppi, four grey levels, multi-touch and dedicated page buttons. A front light with warm and cold tones keeps the page comfortable in bright sun or a dark room.
At 105.5 × 62 × 5.5 mm and just 56 g, it is barely bigger than a bank card and light enough to forget in a shirt pocket, so your library goes wherever you do.
Distraction-free reading, days of battery
An ESP32 chipset and e-ink sip power from the 920 mAh battery, and there are no apps, feeds or notifications to pull you out of a book. The Boox Picco ships with a 16 GB microSD card, and books load over the companion app, the SD card, a phone scan or your computer’s web browser.
It reads EPUB, MOBI, AZW3, TXT, FB2, HTML and more, with chapter jumps, bookmarks and adjustable line and paragraph spacing. Extras include a Pomodoro timer, a word notebook and to-do screensavers, plus Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a gyroscope and a USB-C port.
