BleeqUp Power Plus Helmet-Mount Battery

BleeqUp Power Plus

The BleeqUp Power Plus is the on-helmet battery extender for the Ranger AI Sports Camera Glasses. 1600 mAh stored in a low-profile helmet-mount housing, connected to the frame via a magnetic USB-C cable. Lift the recording duration from up to 1 hour on the frame alone to up to 5 hours of continuous recording — enough for full race days, multi-hour gravel rides and long alpine descents.

Why riders carry one

• Up to 5 hours of recording — full-day capture without swapping glasses
• Weight up high, off the temples — centred on the helmet, not pulling the frame down
• Magnetic USB-C connection — tool-free attach and detach in seconds
• Hot-swappable — carry two, recharge one in your jersey pocket while the other powers the ride
• Splash & sweat resistant — sealed against rain and sweat dripping off the helmet
• USB-C recharge — charge anywhere — from any standard USB-C power bank or charger

Technical specifications

Who needs it?

Race-day riders, multi-hour gravel and MTB riders, run-coaches filming full sessions, content creators who need uninterrupted POV for race-edits and B-roll. If you’ve ever hit “low battery” on the descent you were saving for the highlight reel, Power Plus solves that.

FAQ

How much extra recording time does it add?
The Ranger’s on-board battery is small by design (49 g whole-frame target weight). Power Plus is a much larger 1600 mAh cell carried where weight doesn’t matter — on the helmet — and feeds the frame directly via a magnetic USB-C cable. BleeqUp rates the pair at up to 5 hours of continuous recording, against up to 1 hour on the frame alone.

Does it work with the Ranger Zeiss too?
Yes. Same magnetic USB-C connector on both frames.

Can I use a standard power bank instead?
You can, but a standard power bank lives in your jersey pocket and pulls cable routing across your back and over the helmet — clumsy on rough roads. Power Plus is designed to live up on the helmet with a short magnetic lead, which is much cleaner on the bike.

How heavy is it on the helmet?
BleeqUp lists it at 42 g — light enough that you stop noticing it after the first few minutes, and designed specifically for helmet-mount use.

Is it safe in the rain?
Yes — it’s splash and sweat resistant for typical riding conditions. Not rated for submersion.
