Ajax MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) Jeweller

The Ajax MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) Jeweller is an advanced wireless outdoor motion detector with built-in visual verification, designed to deliver accurate intrusion detection with instant photo confirmation. Combining dual PIR sensors, intelligent filtering, and Ajax’s Photo on Demand (PhOD) technology, it provides both detection and visual insight into alarm events.

Equipped with two PIR sensors, the device detects motion up to 15 meters with a 90° detection angle, while advanced algorithms minimise false alarms caused by weather, vegetation, or small animals. Pet immunity ensures reliable operation in residential and commercial environments.

The integrated camera captures a series of images when motion is detected, allowing users and monitoring centres to verify alarms instantly. With Photo on Demand (PhOD), authorised users can also request images at any time via the Ajax app, providing real-time visual checks without compromising privacy.

Built for harsh outdoor conditions, the unit features an IP55-rated enclosure, anti-masking protection, and tamper detection to prevent interference or sabotage. It operates reliably in extreme temperatures, ensuring consistent performance year-round.

Using Ajax’s secure Jeweller radio protocol for communication and Wings protocol for image transmission, the device delivers encrypted, stable connectivity with a range of up to 1,700 meters (Jeweller) and efficient photo delivery.

With up to 3 years of battery life, optional external power support, and remote configuration via the Ajax app, the MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) is ideal for perimeter security where both detection and visual verification are critical.
