It pairs over Bluetooth with a range of up to 10 metres, toggles between modes with a single click and navigates the display from anywhere in the room. A rechargeable battery holds its charge for months and tops up over USB-C — from a phone adapter, a power bank, a computer or the Connect itself.

What the Insta360 Connect Remote Control does

Room-wide control — Bluetooth range of up to 10 m covers a mid-sized meeting room.

One-click modes — switch between Group Framing, 8K Gallery, Speaker Tracking and the other Connect modes.

Months on a charge — rechargeable battery; charge with the 1.8 m USB-C cable from the Connect box or the 10 m Connect USB-C cable.

Spare for shared rooms — keep one per room or one in the IT drawer; the Touch Panel takes over touch control where installed.

Insta360 Connect Remote Control vs Insta360 Touch Panel

Control

Included remote control

Insta360 Touch Panel

Type

Handheld Bluetooth remote

Android 11 touchscreen, 1280 × 800 IPS

Range / link

Up to 10 m over Bluetooth

USB-A to USB-C cable, Wi-Fi or Ethernet on the same LAN

What it does

Navigates the display, one-click mode switching

On-screen menus for modes and settings, meeting control, layout switching with Link 2 cameras

Zoom Rooms

—

Required for a Zoom Rooms deployment

Power

Rechargeable battery, holds charge for months

Powered from the Connect over USB, or its own adapter

Figures are Insta360’s own published specifications.
