With only 120 units available in South Africa, it represents a key evolution in locking performance, safety, and everyday usability.

The modern cross-bolt locking mechanism uses a hardened steel bar that spans the width of the knife and engages securely with the blade tang. This creates a strong, dependable lockup that resists accidental closure under pressure. Unlike liner or frame locks, the cross-bolt system allows the blade to be opened and closed without placing fingers in the blade path, improving user safety. The smooth, low-friction action enables fast, controlled one-handed operation.

Fully ambidextrous by design, the lock can be disengaged from either side, offering equal control for left- and right-handed users. The simple mechanism is durable, dirt-resistant, and easy to maintain, making it well suited to demanding conditions.

The stone washed 8Cr13Mov stainless steel drop-point blade delivers reliable cutting performance while helping conceal marks from regular use. A black G10 handle provides a secure, comfortable grip in all conditions. Designed for everyday carry, outdoor use, tactical tasks, and utility work, this knife combines proven materials with the debut of the Honey Badger Cross-Bolt locking system in our range. With only 120 available locally (450 worldwide), it’s a limited opportunity to own this new locking design.

Specs & Features

Blade Material: 8Cr13Mov stainless steel

Blade Style: Drop-point

Finish: Stone-washed, non-reflective

Handle Material: G10 (Black)

Locking Mechanism: Cross-bolt

Size: Medium/Large

Use: Everyday carry, outdoor, tactical, camping

Rugged stone-washed blade finish hides wear and tear

Ergonomic G10 handle for superior grip and comfort

8Cr13Mov steel offers sharpness and corrosion resistance

Secure cross-bolt lock for enhanced safety

Balanced design for precise control and stability

Dimensions

Dimensions

Metric

Imperial

Overall Length:

196.9 mm

7.8 in

Blade Length:

83.9 mm

3.3 in

Closed Length:

113 mm

4.45 in

Blade Thickness

2.5 mm

0.098 in

Weight:

85 g

3.00 oz

https://guardsondutyshop.co.za/products/honey-badger-limited-edition-stone-washed-cross-bolt-drop-point-8cr13mov-g10-black-med-large
