The Teltonika RUT956 is the serial/GNSS-equipped step-up from the RUT951, adding RS232 and RS485 ports (Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3, BACnet MS/TP), a USB 2.0 port, configurable digital/analogue I/O, and integrated GNSS positioning alongside its dual-SIM LTE Cat 4 and Wi-Fi connectivity. It targets industrial telemetry applications - vehicle/asset tracking, remote PLC and meter monitoring, SCADA integration - where both wireless LAN and legacy serial equipment need to be bridged onto a cellular WAN link.
